This is my 31st year in public accounting and I still love it!
My passion for accounting means I am happy providing exceptional service as a professional. I enjoy attending the on-going tax and accounting update courses to keep "on top of my game". What might seem like drudgery to you is exciting for me.
I grew up in family of entrepreneurs. Our family business in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan had retail (home entertainment), service (electronic repairs) and wholesale operations as well as a full service gas station. I know from first-hand experience what it is like to schedule and manage staff, prepare the payroll, re-order stock, deal with government forms, manage bank accounts and overdrafts, serve customers and deal with paperwork.
I am very proud to have made a presentation on the topic of taxation and the audit tools employed by Canada Revenue Agency in the audit of small businesses at the 2011 Mensa Canada Annual Gathering.
The combination of my passion for accounting, formal education as a CMA and growing up in a family business means I offer unique and practical insights for business owners. My firm is very accessible, friendly, efficient and responsive to client needs and requests. |
